7. Robert Duvall steals the show, but is robbed of the award - 1979
8. “LA Confidential” is sunk by a blockbuster - 1997
9. Al Pacino’s best apparently not good enough - 1976
10. “Brokeback Mountain” wins everything but an Oscar - 2005
